Wow, the November yarn from The Yarn Cafe arrived at my doorstep yesterday, and boy is it pretty. However, I have too many projects on the go to cast-on just yet. So, whats a girl to do?
Annoy the Dog? Great until it looked like it may become her newest play-toy. How about?
Display yarn.
This is what I do with those Oh My! skeins of sock yarn that end up in my house (how did that happen?). And in case you are wondering the other side of the room has a similar display!!

I am the same, I really want to get cracking but need to finish off some things first - oh the agony of getting lush yarn ;)
I do the same as you Kate, glass vases. And I put them in front of the aquarium too so the fish can enjoy them.
What a great idea! I think I am going to have to try it.
